The Main Hall

The marquee just outside the Main Hall offers a unique touch—ideal for highlighting their graduation year or a fun, custom message.
The large garage doors and tall windows also offer a variety of creative options for capturing lighting and shadows.

With panoramic views of downtown Des Moines, the Rooftop offers a fresh, urban backdrop perfect for bold, stylish senior portraits.
Capture natural light magic or playful shots with the city skyline framing your clients’ personalities.
The stylish red “Theater” sign is also a unique touch to add to your photo shoot plans.
The Rooftop at The Shop DSM is ideal for fashion-forward or adventurous seniors who want something unforgettable.

The Shop DSM is excited to announce our exclusive Senior Photo Shoot Giveaway! Seniors who take their senior photos at The Shop DSM during the Open House and share their photos on social media, tagging @TheShopDSM, will be entered for a chance to win a FREE Graduation Reception Booking at The Shop DSM with access to all three floors: The Main Hall, Basement Lounge, and Rooftop.
📅 Eligibility:
Open to all 2026 seniors who take their senior photos at The Shop DSM during the April 27th Open House.
To enter, participants must post their Photos from The Shop DSM on social media and tag @TheShopDSM between April 27th and May 25th.

Senior Photos that were taken at the Shop DSM during the Open House
Photos from The Senior’s experience at the Shop DSM

Each valid tag counts as one entry into the drawing.

The winner is responsible for a $300 cleaning fee.
